RW ON THE WEB
By the time you get this issue, Reformed Worship should have its own home page on the Internet (http://www.reformedworship.org). We're hoping that a whole new range of potential RW subscribers may learn about us, and that subscribers will also be able to take advantage of some of the services we envision for Web browsers.
Our debut on the Web will be modest: the table of contents of our last issue and some "freebie" information from one of the latest issues. For example, we might include Harry Boonstra's Q & A column, or quotations or resources that churches may want to pick up and use in their publications or services. And, of course, information on subscribing.
We're working on getting the entire index on-line, so it will always be available and up-to-date. We'll also provide some links to other Websites, so you can get more information about specific worship issues. We'd also like to explore setting up chat lines, so that people can react to a given article or topic or engage in conversation on-line.

"WHEN A CHURCH WANTS TO COMMISSION ..."
"When a Church Wants to Commission ..." is the title of a new series of small, helpful brochures (8" x 11" trifolded) for churches that may be interested in commissioning a work of art or music for their congregation. Worship committees will benefit from the simple guidelines in three brochures currently available for commissioning a painting, mural, or graphic design; a work of music; or a work of fabric art. HYMN TUNE CONTEST
The Denver Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO), in cooperation with the Hymn Society in the United States and Canada, has announced a hymn-tune contest for a new tune in festive setting of the hymn "For the Music of Creation" by New Zealand poet Shirley Erena Murray.
