Continuing Education: Notes

The following is a possible note of explanation that could be printed in a bulletin to accompany the Epiphany banner shown here.

Epiphany is a time to celebrate the revealing of God's glory in the birth of his Son Jesus. In streams of overlapping color and the play of light, the banners depict the coming of light to a dark world.

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORDrises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears to over you. (Isaiah 60:1-2)

To the glory of God, the enhancement of our worship, and a personal testimony of their faith.
