Announcing First RW Visual Arts Awards
RW 64 (June 2002) will be a theme issue all in color devoted to celebrating the gifts of those who have created visual arts for worship spaces. We invite artists to submit entries in any category of art that was created for use in worship spaces, including banners, paraments, bulletin covers, communion ware, stained glass, temporary installations, and furniture. You may submit up to three entries; a coordinated set (of paraments, for example) counts as one entry. Rules for entry:
• For each entry, submit three identical high-quality slides, each identified on the top of the slide with the name of the artist, title, date, medium, and dimensions.
• Submit three copies of the entry form for each slide submitted.
• All entries must be submitted (postmarked) by January 10, 2002.
• Send to Reformed Worship 2850 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Grand Rapids MI 49560; attn. Visual Arts Awards
A team of judges will determine any awards.
