This year’s COLAM conference in Northwest Iowa will be a spiritual retreat with opportunities for both reflective and celebrative worship. It will also offer an opportunity for practical learning about planning and leading worship, with sessions for pastors, musicians, artists, youth and children’s leaders, dramatists, and dancers.

- Plenary addresses by Marva Dawn on how worship forms people of spiritual depth and character
- Sermons by Cornelius Plantinga, Jr., on the mystery of our union with Christ in his death and resurrection
- Celebrative black gospel music of Horace Boyer
- Sessions on movement and dance by Ellen Van’t Hof
- Unforgettable dramatic presentations by Friends of the Groom, a professional drama troupe from Cincinnati, Ohio
